Wade Knowles
WWII | 216th Field Artillery, 35th Infantry Division
Wade Knowles' father was in World War One and he and all three of his brothers served in World War Two. He was still a little taken aback when he was drafted, but he marched right through basic training, even throwing a guy twice his size into The Pit. He had a little attitude because he was going into the Air Corps and then he was forced into the infantry. (4:35)
