While guarding a bridge on the Danube River, Fauscett and his outfit had a close call with a German plane. Later on, they came face to face with a young German soldier who had just landed his plane near them.
After the war had ended, Fauscett and his outfit went to Kursk, Germany. They were to guard a train that had gotten stuck in a tunnel after an aerial attack. The train carried a plethora of weapons, and overcome with curiosity, Fauscett uncovered exactly what the train had been carrying.
