The Atlanta WWII Roundtable is an Atlanta, GA-based organization that was formed in order to preserve the stories of WWII and promote a sense of appreciation for the sacrifices of WWII veterans. Meeting monthly, members can share personal experiences with one another over lunch, and hear speakers from outside of the group share their wartime memories or talk on subjects surrounding WWII. Begun in 1986, the group boasts nearly 300 members, which includes veterans of all wars and other interested parties. Witness to War has partnered with the WWII Roundtable for many years, sharing in fellowship and preserving the oral histories of many of the group’s current and former members. The organization is continuously adding new members, and can be contacted via their website for additional information. www.atlantawwiiroundtable.org
